Christian Bale - I think he would make an excellent Roger. He is gorgeous for one. Secondly, Roger's nickname is the Thrush and anyone whose been a fan of his for long will remember him in Newsies, so he has some singing experience which would be helpful. Not that we're making Outlander the Musical here or anything but it is something that is important to Roger as a person and showing that in the film a few times would be important. And to top it all off Christian Bale is an insanely good actor. I think he could add a lot of depth and thought to the part. I could easily see him as the sensitive scholar, the passionate lover, and serious second in command to Jamie. The picture shown here is of him playing Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins. This would be a good example of the pre-time travel Roger.
